The ​Higher risk for Skin Penetration contextualises and reflects upon a specific workplace infection risks and hazards. It covers associated Infection Prevention and Control practices related to workplace instruments and equipment with reference to workplace policies and procedures.
This Course describes the skills and knowledge needed for health care workers. It will enable them to comply with regulations, standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures. Graduates will be able to identify, manage, and control risks to clients, operators, and other health care workers.
The course will allow you to provide higher risk personal appearance services including body art tattooing, body piercing and permanent makeup in accordance with the Public Health (Infection Prevention and Control for Personal Appearance Service) Act 2012.
After successful completion of this course, you will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
